in the beautiful riverside market town of Woodbridge. 

 

 

 

Lynford Arboretum Outdoor Exhibition

 

 

If you go down to the woods today……….at Lynford Arboretum!

 

The Outdoor Exhibition/Trail which includes these drawings/paintings of cones, which I made for the

 

Bedgebury Pinetum florilegium Association 

a few years ago, as part of The Art of Trees outdoor exhibition/ trail.

Which also includes paintings of rare trees, conservation and germination, seeds, leaves, bark, flowers etc by the florilegium artists.  Its a beautiful spot for a walk, picnic and some forest bathing! 

 

There is a leaflet available from a hut near the cafe which explains the project in more detail.

Iceni Botanical Artists Exhibition

The Iceni Botanical artists exhibition is on for two weeks, the first weekend of which is also the Cathedral's Harvest Weekend. 

When Entry to the Cathedral is free on Saturday 30th September & Sunday 1st October. Please do check times for this.

This year as well as the celebrations around the life of St Etheldreda the cathedral is  celebrating the gift of water, and its vital part in the cycle of life, its use in farming, and its associations with abundance and plenty.

The Nave will be filled with spectacular flowers designed by the Flower Guild and there are special exhibitions, events and tours.


The Lady Chapel is used by the Cathedral for some other private events so do please phone to check it is open when you want to visit.
